The MASH Sequential Kinking Terminal (MSKT) is a redirective tangent terminal that uses sequential kinking technology to absorb energy. The MSKT is interchangeable with the SKT system for easy maintenance and repairs. When hit head-on, the MSKT head travels along the W-Beam causing it to sequentially kinking. The vehicle is safely stopped and the W-Beam curls away from the roadway. The 8-post system is MASH Test Level 3 compliant.
