Working from our main location in Langley, BC, their main job purpose is the installation, staging, organization, shipping, receiving, distribution, and delivery of traffic and construction safety products (i.e. crash attenuators, sign posts, parking curbs, temporary steel barrier, solar beacons, crash systems, and trailered traffic accommodation equipment). Working with our local team and also in conjunction with our head office logistics team, this person will be responsible for installations and repairs, shop performance, optimal safety compliance, and inventory control. This role is vital in the successful deliverance of premium customer service.

As a Traffic Technician, this role is responsible for the day-to-day field duties, equipment operation, installation of traffic materials, and delivery of road construction & traffic safety equipment/supplies. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Installation of roadside safety products
  • Lane closures and traffic control requirements per traffic management plans
  • Provide packaging of products as per purchase orders
  • Prepare inventory requests
  • Rental equipment preparation, delivery, and/or staging.
  • General labor duties & equipment operation
  • Delivery of supplies & customer service
  • Shop safety and compliance
  • Proactively organize and improve our shop-related workflows.
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers & partners re: deliveries and equipment needed to complete projects
  • Inventory control and building work packages as required
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Must have a clean driving record and hold a Class 5 drivers license
  • Secondary/High School Diploma/Certificate
  • One year of Traffic Control Experience (preferred)
  • Previous experience driving commercial vehicles is considered an asset
  • Personal motor vehicle report (MVR) required. Note: hiring is dependent on results of driving record, subject to insurers review.
