Thrie Beam is a standard guardrail panel used as a longitudinal barrier to keep errant vehicles on the roadway. Instead of a two-wave design like W-Beam rails, Thrie Beam rail features a three-wave cross sectional design for added strength and durability and is often used in transitional areas like bridge approaches. It is made of galvanized steel and is available in 10-gauge and 12-gauge steel.
