The Gibraltar TL4 four cable system is used as a roadside barrier or between divided highways to prevent vehicles from crossing the median. The top two cables alternate within the top loop of the hair-pin which effectively slows and redirects vehicles that leave the highway. The wire rope design is held in place by a support post with a concrete foundation and is MASH 2016 compliant on level terrain up to 4:1 slopes.
