Fleat 350
The Fleat 350 (Flared Energy Absorbing Terminal) is a flared end treatment used with W-Beam barriers. During head-on impacts, the Fleat 350 head slides along the W-Beam guardrail causing the rail to sequentially kink away from the vehicle and the roadway. During side impacts, the Fleat 350 acts as a guardrail, safely keeping vehicles on the roadway. It is NCHRP Report 350 Test Level 2 and Test Level 3 compliant.
