2-Day TCP Course Questions:

1. How Long is the Course?
The duration of the program is 16 hours over 2 consecutive days.
Students are responsible for bringing CSA approved steel toed boots for the second day of training.
Yes, students are required to successfully complete an exam as well as an on road practical in order to receive their ticket.
The ticket is valid for 3 years after which you may take a 1-day program to renew the certificate.

UHS TCP Programs give the students an in-depth look into what it takes to be a TCP. Along with all other courses we offer stand by our principal to deliver the highest quality training by providing our students with the most up to date information. 1-Day Recert Questions:

Yes, UHS will offer the TCP Recert program to TCPs with expiring tickets from any WorkSafe-approved TCP Certifier.
No, you are required to complete the 1-day recert program in order to renew your ticket

Registration Questions:

You may register online through our website, www.theuniversalgroup.ca, or over the phone with a credit card. Please keep in mind that payment is required in order to secure your spot.
UHS has a 3-business day cancellation policy. If the cancellation is within the 3-business day window, program transfer and/or refunds will not be offered unless the cancellation is for a legitimate reason.
No, the course must be taken in the classroom as there are hands on elements to the program that cannot be completed through online.
